The AKA Dwelling Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase you make from AKA Dwelling. If your order fails to meet your expectations for any reason, please return the merchandise within 90 days of receipt for exchange, refund, or credit (excluding delivery and handling charges). After 90 days, no returns will be accepted (sorry, personalized items cannot be returned). Basically, if you don't like it when you get it, you don't have to keep it!
Returns
There are two ways that you can return items to AKA Dwelling. You can contact us at 1.877.388-7245 and inform us you would like to return an item you purchased. Our shipping department will send you a return label and your purchase will be credit minus shipping charges once the item is received in our warehouse.
OR
You can choose to ship the item back yourself. Please insure and ship your return merchandise, with the information requested on your packing slip, to the address shown on your packing slip. We recommend insuring your return shipment, since we cannot give credit for items that do not arrive in our operations center.

Exchanges
If you've kept your packing slip, contact us at atyourservice@akadwelling.com and explain what you would like to exchange from your order, and include it with your return. If the merchandise price for the replacement item exceeds the amount to be refunded (please note that delivery and handling charges are not refunded when you return an item unless we are at fault), please include payment for the additional amount. (please do not send cash) There are no additional charges for delivery and handling if you're exchanging an item. If you have questions, please call us at 1.877.388-7245
Returns and Exchanges of Gifts
contact us at atyourservice@akadwelling.com as you would for a regular return or exchange (see above). If you are returning the item, we will send you a gift certificate for the dollar amount of the item. If you are exchanging the item and the amount for the replacement item exceeds the cost for the return item, please include payment for the additional amount.
Shipping Errors and Damages
Please call us right away at 1.877.453.2602 or email us at atyourservice@akadwelling.com if your order arrived damaged or if a packing error occurred; please provide us with your order number, name, address, and a description of what happened. We will let you know what to do next. If the item is needed immediately and a replacement item is in stock, we will ship it to you immediately; your credit card will be charged for the second shipment, but you will be credited for the original item including delivery and handling once the return has been processed. (see return process above).
Refunds
Depending on the method you use to return the item to us, it can take up to 7-14 days for us to receive your return. If you placed your order with a credit card, the credit will be applied to your account and usually appears on your statement within one billing cycle from the time we process your return.
Sale Prices
Sale prices are offered to our customers for a limited time and on specific merchandise. Sale prices are not applicable to prior purchase. Some items that are for sales are final sales item and are not returnable. Listing will state that the item is not returnable on the product page.
